Harbor Light Christian School strives to provide the utmost in Christian Education. Bob Jones University Press, A Beka Books, Christian Schools International Press, McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, and Saxon Publishers are among the commonly used texts. Some secular publications and texts are used. If any secular publications or texts are utilized, it is thoroughly examined by the Education Committee to determine the extent of its use.

Online Curriculum

Harbor Light Christian School offers students the Ignitia On-line curriculum, a product of Alpha Omega learning systems.  Students that do not fit our curriculum or desire electives we do not offer can access a variety of courses that include French, Personal  Financial Literacy, Introduction to Business, Computer Information Systems, Digital Art and many more. All students involved with Ignitia Online are monitored by our staff.

Built exclusively for Christian schools, this comprehensive curriculum for students in grades 3 through 12 includes lessons in five core subject areas: Bible, language arts, math, science, and history and geography, with a diverse list of electives also available. Ignitia courses are not only rigorous and interactive, but provide instruction based on a Christian worldview, encouraging students to consider challenging questions from a biblical perspective.

Courses include text-based lessons, assignments, quizzes, and tests that engage students while they learn.
