- We have been in existence for 25 years
- We are a community Christian School:
- Our student body is made up of pre-Kindergarten–12th grade students from over 20 different area churches.
- The governing board of HLCS is made up of members from several different area churches.
- We are a safe harbor to prepare students for the challenging seas of life.
- The vast majority of our graduates have entered or will enter college.
- All of our graduates participate in some form of short-term cross-cultural mission trip before they graduate. Many of them serve as missionaries as a vocation or in their career callings in life.
- We are committed to teaching and living out a Biblical Christian Worldview
