Readiness - Dora Johnson
I am a Harbor Light Christian graduate. I am the mother of three: Abigail, Victoria, and Andrew. I have taught Readiness for many years now – 5 of those before having my own children, and since then, having my youngest in my class. It is a joy to be back. djohnson@harborlight.org

Readiness & Enrichment Teachers Aide - Jessica Paule
We have been blessed to be a part of the HLCS family since 2004. My husband Joel and I moved here from Alaska. We have been married for almost 10 years and have two wonderful children, Khalil and Khailani. This is my fourth year working with the Readiness Program and I love to help teach and be a part of this mission. jpaule@harborlight.org

I have been associated with Harbor Light Christian School since its origination, and was the first teacher hired in 1985! I have previously taught K-3 and have been the elementary coordinator. I love to see the students get excited about Jesus and about learning. hhewitt@harborlight.org
1st & 2nd Grade – Julie Spencer
I started at HLCS in 1995 teaching first grade. I enjoyed the staff, students, and school so much I decided to stay. I have experience in teaching first through third grade. I enjoy reading, scrap booking, and photography. jspencer@harborlight.org

"If you make the learning interesting enough the discipline will take care of itself", Stuart Little. I love this philosophy and it is how I try to teach. I think the key to school success is a love for learning. My goal for each child is to help them reach their potential through a variety of activities, story books, and experiences. I am very excited about this year and the potential greatness of each of my learners. With twenty-0ne students our room is exploding with potential!
My home life is just as crazy and fun. I am married to the most wonderful man who puts up with my quirky ways. My three children Jack, Megan, and Emma all attend Harbor Light which is a blessing to me as I run into them often. I am a HLCS graduate. I went to Trinity Bible College in North Dakota where I met my husband Rob. We have 3 children: Courtney, Michael, and Anna. We homeschooled for four years and came back to HLCS in 07/08. I love teaching and spending time with the students. Outside of school I love to lead worship, decorate, play volleyball, and hang out with my family. sblair@harborlight.org
